[Every other week, Gamasutra examines the most popular Facebook games (according to monthly active users), looking at the top titles and developers on the social network to see who's attracting or losing players.] The three biggest Faceook games in terms of audience all saw significant growth in the last two weeks, including Zynga's CityVille at the top spot with 76.1 million monthly users compared to 72 million when we last counted its numbers.  The Sims Social by Electronic Arts and Playfish, though, is still putting up a good chase after CityVille for that leading position, and now has 66.2 million players less than two months after it launched on the social network. 14 days ago, it had 60.3 million users. Zynga's Adventure World, another recent release that debuted a month ago, has risen to #3, up to 37.6 million players from 21.6 million in a couple weeks. That's about the same speed as The Sims Social's growth, so this one might reach similar heights. On its way to #3, Adventure World pushed several Zynga staples: FarmVille now at #4 (35.1 million, down from 37 million), followed by Texas HoldEm Poker (31.6 million, down from 34.3 million), and Empires & Allies (26.8 million, down from 34 million). Disney/Playdom's Gardens of Time remains at #7 with 14.4 million players (down from 15.9 million). Zynga's Words With Friends hopped from #9 to #8 while staying around 12.5 million users, as Pioneer Trail dropped from #8 to #11 with 9.5 million gamers (down from 13 million). And at the final two spots in the top ten, there's Wooga's Diamond Dash keeping steady at 12.4 million players, and Bubble Island from the same developer with 10.3 million users (slightly down from 10.4 million).
