The writer and creative director of the Uncharted series returns to her EA roots at Visceral Games, where she will serve as creative director on Visceral's upcoming Star Wars game.
Newsbrief: Amy Hennig, the veteran industry writer and director who left Naughty Dog earlier this month, has joined up with EA's Visceral Games as a creative director on the studio's upcoming Star Wars game. "As both a colleague and friend, I’ve always admired her approach to creative development," Visceral Games VP Steve Papoutsis wrote in a blog post announcing Hennig's new role. "Amy’s a huge [Star Wars] fan. We happen to be making a Star Wars game. Just thinking about the possibilities made both of us even more excited about having her join the team." Though she is perhaps best known for her work as a writer and creative director on Naughty Dog's Uncharted series -- which won her a Writers Guild of America award in 2010 -- Hennig has previously worked at Electronic Arts as a designer, and Crystal Dynamics as director on the Legacy of Kain series.
