Warner Bros. recently scooped up two major executives for its European and international teams, NCsoft Europe's managing director Veronique Lallier and Microsoft/Electronic Arts veteran Stefan Lampinen. Lallier (pictured) spent over six years at Brighton, UK-based NCsoft Europe, joining as product manager for Guild Wars and eventually overseeing the MMORPG company's publishing operations for the territory by March 2009. She left NCsoft to begin working at Warner Bros. Entertainment as its new Digital Publishing - International vice president last month, according to a report from UK trade news site MCV. NCsoft implemented a flat management structure with Lallier's absence, allowing European sales/marketing director Sarah Rogers and European Corporate Communications director Catherine Channon to take over her roles. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group Nordic also announced the appointment of Stefan Lampinen as the head of its Nordic office, reporting directly to WB International president Jim Wuthrich. Lampinen is currently the managing director at London-based consultancy Game Advisor, too. He previously held regional managing director and vice president positions at both Microsoft and Electronic Arts. "Stefan has extensive experience and broad expertise in the industry," says Wuthrich. "We are confident that he will be able to strengthen our position in the Nordic region further."
