New To The Site & To The Industry

So I am new here on Gamasutra and I am hoping that this first blog post will maybe get some of you guys & gals who are more experienced to give me some pointers and tips.

I am a writer/director for indie cinema, but for a long time I have been highly interested in writing story/script for games. I have no inkling as to where to start or how to go about breaking into this field and thus am hoping that those of you who have been at it longer would be cool with sharing some advice.

Whilst I do mantain a personal blog at www.arivindabraham.com, I am going to make a serious effort to be active on this site and to blog on here as well as often as possible.
