Today, Nintendo announced a new partnership with wi-fi service provider Boingo, which will provide free Wi-Fi hotspots for 3DS users across 42 North American airports. 3DS owners at airports such as Chicago's O’Hare, New York's JFK, and Houston's George Bush Intercontinental will be able to use these free hotspots to play online games, browse the 3DS eStore, watch online videos, and use any of the device's other internet-based features. In addition, the Boingo hotspots will grant access the Nintendo Zone, a virtual service on 3DS that provides promotional offers, coupons, and more.
