Newsbrief: It feels like Nintendo prevails against patent trolls every other month at the moment -- the company has already beaten three this year, and has just added a fourth to that total. A federal appeals court said last Friday that Triton Tech's patent lawsuit against Nintendo is invalid. Triton Tech says that Nintendo's Wii Remote controller infringements on one of its own parents, but the court did not agree. Of course, for every lawsuit Nintendo successfully clears, another one seems to pop up -- currently the company has both Secure Axcess and electronic giant Philips on its back.
