Nordic Games on Thursday announced it has relaunched Painkiller and Safecracker publisher DreamCatcher as a separate publishing label under the Nordic Games name. Nordic Games previously acquired DreamCatcher as part of the acquisition of its parent company JoWood earlier this year, giving it access to over 50 game licenses. Nordic Games CEO Lars Wingefors, explained, "After the incorporation of the JoWood and The Adventure Company publishing label, DreamCatcher is the third and last to follow for the time being. Our approach is to assess the performance of DreamCatcher’s portfolio through back-catalog sales, and as a consequence develop sequels to its bestselling brands and licenses, just as we did with our other two publishing labels." The company named Painkiller and Safecracker in particular as two intellectual properties that will be part of the DreamCatcher relaunch. The business operations will be handled from Nordic's Vienna, Austria headquarters, while the company is "currently in negotiations with North American companies regarding the distribution and marketing of products."
