Presskit(), the brilliant and free marketing toolset from Vlambeer's Rami Ismail, has received a notable version 2.0 update, which brings new visual and technical options. The toolset allows developers to more easily put together a webpage for the press to grab information, screenshots, videos and more about your game. A survey conducted by Gamasutra earlier this year found that a good portion of the press would prefer to find assets for a game via a Presskit() page. Presskit() 2.0 adds a revamped style-set for the tools, which Ismail says allows for better management of assets. It also introduces new xml tags, including tags for review copy requests and YouTube monetization permissions, and the possibility to remove the awards and quotes sections. More information on the free update can be found on Ismail's blog.
