Newsbrief: Offer-based ad company and Facebook Credits partner TrialPay has raised over $40 million in a new round of funding that will further finance its incentive-based advertising platform. TrialPlay's platform allows users to earn free in-game cash for online games, such as Facebook's universal virtual currency Credits for social games and apps, by participating in offers (e.g. signing up for free subscriptions, participating in surveys). TrialPay's latest round of funding included contributions from new investors like Visa, T. Rowe Price, Greylock Partners, DAG Ventures, DFJ Growth, and QuestMark Partners, as well as from existing backers.
