Newsbrief: Nintendo will soon terminate the Wi-Fi Connection Service for the Nintendo DS, the DSi, and the Nintendo Wii, meaning that online games and features for these consoles will no longer work. Features such as online play, matchmaking and leaderboards will be shutdown on May 20, 2014, says the company. Dozens of games will be affected, including Animal Crossing: Let's Go to the City, Mario Kart Wii, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and the Pokemon series on DS. Nintendo was keen to stress that some online features for the Wii and DS will remain operational, including the web browsers, the online stores, and the YouTube channel.
