Newsbrief: In OnLive's latest move to expand its platform to new devices, the company revealed that its cloud-based game streaming service will become available as a standard feature in all televisions and devices running the Google TV platform. The OnLive Viewer, which enables all of the service's social features, is available now for all current and future Google TV devices. OnLive says users will soon be able to stream games directly through Google TV, allowing these devices to function much the same way as the existing OnLive MicroConsole. In a similar move, competing streaming company Gaikai announced yesterday that it will integrate its service into select Digital TVs from LG Electronics. Earlier this week, OnLive took its first step outside of the game industry with a new iPad app that lets users stream a cloud-based version of Windows 7 directly to their tablet devices.
