Helsinki-based developer RedLynx has revealed Trials Evolution, a sequel to its best-selling Xbox Live Arcade title Trials HD, with an expected release sometime in 2011. The follow-up to the 2009 hit downloadable title is "more than just a sequel to Trials HD," according to Antti Ilvessuo, creative director of RedLynx. "We listened carefully to all the feedback we received from the previous game and added it to our own vision of what the ultimate Trials game could be, coming up with a gamer’s wish list of must-play features." Ilvessuo noted, "We took our time in carefully planning and developing it before announcing it, because we wanted to do it right." The game will be an Xbox Live Arcade exclusive. RedLynx revealed last month that Trials HD has now attracted over 2 million downloads across the base game and its two DLC packs.
