Release This: Assassin's Creed III premieres at retail

Gamasutra's regular round-up of worldwide video game releases, "Release This!", takes a look at every game title we know to be shipping to stores this week, in a custom compiled list. This week brings Assassin's Creed III, WWE '13, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, and Zone of the Enders HD Collection to retailers in North America. The following list covers all of the game software we know to be available -- across all platforms and regions -- for the week ending November 3rd, 2012. Games Released in the United States: Ubisoft's Revolutionary War-era action-adventure game Assassin's Creed III ships for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this week, with PC and Wii U ports to follow next month. A unique PlayStation Vita spinoff title, Assassin's Creed III: Liberation will also premiere this week. Other major retail releases hitting store shelves this week include Criterion's sandbox racing game Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Konami's Zone of the Enders HD Collection, and the first 3DS entry in Level-5's Professor Layton series, Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask.
