Gamasutra's regular round-up of worldwide video game releases, "Release This!", takes a look at every game title we know to be shipping to stores this week, in a custom compiled list. This week brings Mario Kart 7 and Doctor Lautrec to Europe, while Japan gets Tekken Hybrid and an Xbox 360 port of Ever 17. The following list covers all of the game software we know to be available -- across all platforms and regions -- for the week ending December 3rd, 2011. Games Released in the United States: While November brought a deluge of major titles for all platforms, North America now sees a much leaner weekly release lineup as the holidays approach. Current highlights include Renegade Kid's 3DS camera-controlled racer Face Racers: Photo Finish and Majesco's Wii shark sim JAWS: Ultimate Predator. Nintendo Wii: - JAWS: Ultimate Predator - Marine Life Rescue Xbox 360: - Battle Stuff (Kinect Fun Labs) - Volchaos (Xbox Live Indie Games) Nintendo 3DS: - Face Racers: Photo Finish Nintendo DS: - Fix It: Home Improvement Challenge - Jungle School PC: - Bridge Constructor - Defender's Quest - Heavy Fire: Afghanistan - Skiing Resort Simulator 2012 - Small World Tunnels - Steel Armor - Blaze of War Games Released in Europe: Nintendo's 3DS kart racer Mario Kart 7 premieres in Europe this week, arriving a week in advance of its scheduled U.S. debut. Konami's Professor Layton-like DS puzzler Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights also gets an early European release, while the Wii hosts the region-exclusive dance sim Now That's What I Call Music: Dance & Sing. Nintendo Wii: - Karaoke Revolution Glee: Volume 3 - Now That's What I Call Music: Dance & Sing - Power Rangers Samurai - Puss in Boots - Sherlock Holmes: The Silver Earring Xbox 360: - Puss in Boots Nintendo 3DS: - Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy - Mario Kart 7 - Super Pokemon Rumble Nintendo DS: - Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights - Power Rangers Samurai - Puss in Boots PC: - Assassin's Creed: Revelations Games Released in Japan: Square Enix's Wii board game Itadaki Street Wii, Sega's platformer Sonic Generations, and an Xbox 360 port of KID's popular visual novel Ever 17 headline this week's console release lineup in Japan. Cooking Mama 4 and Mario Kart 7 join the 3DS's software library, meanwhile, as the PlayStation 3 gets Tekken Hybrid, which includes a Blu-ray film and an upgraded HD version of Tekken Tag Tournament.
