Gamasutra's regular round-up of worldwide video game releases, "Release This!", takes a look at every game title we know to be shipping to stores this week, in a custom compiled list. This week brings The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword stateside, while Japan gets 7th Dragon 2020 and Pop'n Music Portable 2, among other notable releases. The following list covers all of the game software we know to be available -- across all platforms and regions -- for the week ending November 26th, 2011. Games Released in the United States: Nintendo launches the latest entry in its long-running The Legend of Zelda series, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, in North America this week. Skyward Sword uses the Wii MotionPlus peripheral extensively, allowing for more accurate swordplay and gameplay elements that require precise physical movements. The game ships to retail in both standalone and Wii Remote Plus-bundled editions. SNK's 2D fighting game The King of Fighters XIII also hits stores this week, arriving alongside other multiplatform offerings like THQ's wrestling franchise update WWE '12 and Crave's 3DS-ported cartoon brawler Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion XL. Most Wanted Entertainment's tower defense title Defenders of Ardania serves as this week's sole major downloadable console release, while the Xbox 360 gets a upgraded retail version of Virtuos' Kinect-powered Xbox Live Arcade title Hole In the Wall.
