Bloomberg news says a source has told them Gameloft CEO Michel Guillemot will step down after Vivendi's hostile takeover.
Bloomberg News is reporting via an unnamed source that Gameloft CEO Michel Guillemot plans to resign after Vivendi's successful hostile takeover of Gameloft.
The report follows news earlier today that Gameloft's shareholders gave in to a bid by Vivendi to acquire a majority stake in the French mobile development company.
Both Gameloft and Ubisoft were run by the Guillemot family, and it's possible that Michel Guillemot may be focusing on preventing Ubisoft from meeting a similar fate.
A Gameloft representative has not responded to a request for comment from Gamasutra at this time.
