After ten years as chair of the UK's only interactive entertainment trade body, UKIE, Mastertronic CEO Any Payne has stepped down to make way for Noirin Carmody, COO and co-founder of Revolution Software.

In one of his final acts, Payne, who had a brief stint as UKIE CEO in 2011, delivered another successful chair report in the company's annual review, thanking his colleagues for their support throughout his tenure.

"I decided to step down after 10 years as chair of UKIE. This will be my 15th year as a board member and as far as UKIE has come, we still have much to do," said Payne, who will now re-join the Ukie board as treasurer.

"We work in a relentlessly creative industry, ever changing and challenging. I can’t wait to get started. Again."

Carmody, who worked at Activision before helping found Revolution, has been a member of the UKIE board since 2012.
