Rockstar Games has officially announced the existence of Grand Theft Auto V after months of speculation. Although no details whatsoever have been divulged as of yet, the official Rockstar Games website has been replaced with a huge GTA V, confirming its existence. Text below the logo teases a trailer for the game, which will apparently be released next Wednesday, November 2. Development of the next in the GTA series has been hinted at numerous times in the last year, including a number of casting calls back in March which hinted at a project codenamed "RUSH". Analysts said recently that GTA V could potentially see sales of between 25 and 27 million units in its first year. Meanwhile, Rockstar revealed last month that previous title Grand Theft Auto IV recently surpassed 22 million units shipped, putting the entire franchise at 114 million in total. The company also confirmed that iOS and Android versions of the classic GTA III will be released sometime this fall.
