Gamasutra's weekly column, "Saling The World", covers the top five sellers for every available platform in the United States, Japan, and Europe, providing an important update of sales patterns worldwide. This week's charts, with data taken from January 12th, 2012, find Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2012 and Zumba Fitness leading domestic multiplatform sales, while Monster Hunter 3G and Mario Kart 7 remain big sellers in Japan. Data for "Saling The World" comes courtesy of the public sales information on Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk, and Amazon.co.jp, with sales split out for each platform and territory, and pre-orders disregarded. The Nintendo-published Fatal Frame spinoff Shinrei Camera: Tsuiteru Techou reports fast sales in its premiere week in Japan, meanwhile, as a port of Namco's PlayStation 2 RPG Tales of the Abyss takes third place in the UK charts. PlayStation Vita Japan: 1. Minna no Golf 6 (SCEI), 2. Uncharted: Chizu no Bouken no Hajimari (SCEI), 3. Lord of Apocalypse (Square Enix), 4. Dream C Club Zero Portable (D3 Publisher), 5. Power Smash 4 (Sega). Sony's Hot Shots Golf 6 and Uncharted: Golden Abyss rank as the PlayStation Vita's biggest sellers in the platform's first month of release in Japan. Access Games' Lord of Arcana sequel Lord of Apocalypse also sees brisk sales this week, as D3's hostess sim Dream C Club Zero Portable and Sega's Virtua Tennis 4: World Tour round out the top five.
