Social analytics company Claritics recently announced that it has extended its Social Intelligence suite to Android platforms, offering app developers a new suite of analytics and optimization tools. Claritics' cloud-based analytics solution, which was previously only available for social and web-based platforms, aims to help developers track user acquisition rates, user engagement, and monetization campaigns, providing data to inform design and business decisions for games and other applications. The company says its latest Android-based suite offers a quick sign-up process for developers, and will include tools that provide information on user behavior, demographics, and more. "Our focus is on providing not just a complete view of user trends but also on giving Android developers quick, actionable segmentation insights that have a significant impact on app conversions and ultimately revenue," said Raj Pai, Claritics’ co-founder and CEO. Yesterday, NPD Group revealed that Android phones have increased their market share in recent months, with the platform comprising 52 percent of the smartphones sold in the U.S. during the second quarter of 2011.
