Social media trumps official forums for Tribes Ascend dev

Tribes Ascend studio Hi-Rez made a notable shift in its community management this week, as the company announced that it is scrapping its official forums. The Georgia-based studio says that more and more of its players are connecting via social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Twitch and Reddit, while less Hi-Rez players are visiting the forums. Therefore, the forums have been pulled down, and the community focus will instead shift to sub-Reddits for each of Hi-Rez's games.
