Newsbrief: Russian strategy game company Nival has raised $6 million in a new round of funding, with the aim to expand its audience reach to a global scale, the company announced this week. Nival has been around since the turn of the century, creating franchises like Rafe of Mages, Etherlords, Blitzkrieg and Silent Storm. The studio is currently working on its new free-to-play Prime World franchise. With this new investment round led by venture capital firm Almaz Capital, Nival will be looking to take Prime World to the global market.
