Sales of the Nintendo 3DS fell last week in Japan, yet the handheld console still managed to nearly outsell the next three top-selling consoles combined. For the week ended October 30, data from tracking firm Media Create, and as reported by NeoGAF, shows Nintendo's latest handheld holding firmly to the top of the weekly Japanese hardware charts with 65,041 unit sales in total. Sony's PSP and PS3 were left to take positions two and three respectively, while Nintendo's Wii console continued to sit in fourth position. Sales of all three of these consoles were up, with the PlayStation Portable seeing the largest jump in sales, up more than 8,000 units for a total of 30,605. Elsewhere, the Nintendo DS continued to decline, with total sales dropping down to 3,125 units, while sales of the Xbox 360 increased slightly. Below are the full sales rankings from Media Create for the week ended October 30, 2011. (The second chart lumps together sales of all models in a given line of hardware.)
