Newsbrief: At last count, Clash of Clans studio Supercell is raking in $2.4 million daily, while GungHo's Puzzle & Dragons pulls in at least $2.5 million every day for the company. Now the two development teams are joining forces to highlight their current mobile game dominance, with special in-game items set to appear in each game to celebrate the other. From June 24, a pair of cross-promotions will run across the games in question, while Supercell's Hay Day will also feature Puzzle & Dragons-based content. The promotion will run for two weeks. Notably, Puzzle & Dragons has mainly found success in Japan, while Supercell's games are huge in the West -- hence the companies are no doubt hoping to use this cross-promotion to better push their products in each other's territories.
