Nearly two years ago, we discussed the possibilities of seeing video games on the Kickstarter-funded Pebble smartwatch. With the launch of the Pebble appstore today, those possibilities are one step closer to reality. The Pebble appstore is a smartphone application that can be downloaded for the watch, and allows users to easily find apps and games for the device. Before now, users were forced to use third-party applications to find apps for the device. There are a bunch of games already released for the device, but they are all rather simple, such as takes on Hangman, Chess, Asteroids, Minesweeper and Tetris. With the launch of the dedicated appstore, Pebble will be hoping to attract app and game developers.
