Sony has highlighted its biggest digital hitters of 2015, with the company releasing a round-up of its best selling PlayStation Store titles on the official European and U.S. PlayStation blogs.

In the U.S. the most downloaded PS4 title was Call of Duty: Black Ops III, which was propped up by Grand Theft Auto V and Minecraft - the latter of which was the best selling PS3 game of 2015.

Staying in the states, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas has the honor of being the most downloaded PS Classics title of the past 12 months, while Sword Art Online racked up the most downloads on the PS Vita.

Over in Europe, Destiny: The Taken King was the most downloaded game of the year, followed up by the ever-popular Black Ops III and soccer-sim, FIFA 16

Minecraft once again topped the PS3 charts, but this time Microsoft's blocky sandbox also came top of the pile on PS Vita

Crash Bandicoot stormed the European PS Classics downloads charts, with Crash Bandicoot 1, 2, and 3, occupying the top three spots.
