With less than 24 hours left on the clock, the third Humble Indie Bundle has surpassed $2 million in sales, a first for the Humble Bundle initiative. The bundle originally launched on July 26 with five games, but has since more than doubled in size, adding all five titles from the second Humble Indie Bundle, and an extra two games on top of that. Over 350,000 bundles have been purchased, at an average price of $5.81. Windows users have contributed the most, having spent an average of $4.88 on the bundle, while the average for Mac users is currently resting at $7.68. Linux gamers have provided the highest average overall, with an average purchase price of $12.03. The bundle managed to pass $500,000 in sales within the first 17 hours of it being launched, and later went on to surpass the $1 million mark. This is the first bundle to be offered by the group since it revealed $4.7 million in venture capital funding in April.
