[In this weekly column, Gamasutra rounds up the most popular paid and free gaming applications on the Android Market as of today, with Cut the Rope, UNO, Fruit Ninja and Angry Birds currently ranking among the platform's top downloads.] This week's top paid titles are: 1. Cut the Rope ($0.99) 2. UNO ($0.99) 3. Fruit Ninja ($1.26) 4. Doodle Jump ($0.99) 5. Madden NFL 12 ($4.99) 6. RoboDefense ($2.99) 7. The Moron Test ($0.99) 8. Homerun Battle 3D ($4.99) 9. The Sims 3 ($4.99) 10. Duke Nukem 3D ($1.00) ZeptoLab's Cut the Rope and Gameloft's UNO lead the Android Market's paid charts for the third week running, with Halfbrick's Fruit Ninja continuing to trail at third place. Machineworks' Android port of Duke Nukem 3D drops to tenth place after managing a fourth-place finish last week, as Madden NFL 12 moves up to challenge Doodle Jump. Here are this week's top free Android game applications: 1. Angry Birds 2. Angry Birds Seasons 3. Words With Friends Free 4. Angry Birds Rio 5. Fruit Ninja Free 6. Drag Racing 7. Contract KIller: Zombies (No Blood) 8. Guns'n'Glory WW2 9. Defender 10. Clouds and Sheep Free Angry Birds Seasons drops to second place in the Android's free charts, ending its multi-week reign as the platform's top free download. Angry Birds moves up to recapture top honors, as Words With Friends Free trails at third. Fruit Ninja Free moves up to fifth place in today's rankings after finishing eighth last week, while DroidHen's defense title Defender enters the top ten following a recent update.
