[In this weekly column, Gamasutra rounds up the most popular paid and free gaming applications on the Android Market as of today, with Cut the Rope, UNO, Duke Nukem 3D and Words With Friends currently ranking among the platform's top downloads.] This week's top paid titles are: 1. Cut the Rope ($0.99) 2. UNO ($0.99) 3. Fruit Ninja ($1.26) 4. Duke Nukem 3D ($1.00) 5. Doodle Jump ($0.99) 6. Madden NFL 12 ($4.99) 7. RoboDefense ($2.99) 8. The Moron Test ($0.99) 9. The Sims 3 ($4.99) 10. Homerun Battle 3D ($4.99) ZeptoLab's Cut the Rope and Gameloft's UNO head the Android's paid charts for the second week in a row, as Halfbrick's Fruit Ninja trails at third place. Machineworks' recently updated Android port of Duke Nukem 3D enters the charts at fourth place, as Lima Sky's Doodle Jump beats Madden NFL 12 for fifth. Here are this week's top free Android game applications: 1. Angry Birds Seasons 2. Angry Birds 3. Words With Friends Free 4. Angry Birds Rio 5. Guns'n'Glory WW2 6. Drag Racing 7. Clouds and Sheep Free 8. Fruit Ninja Free 9. Contract KIller: Zombies (No Blood) 10. Wind-up Knight Rovio's Angry Birds and Angry Birds Seasons once again top the free charts, while Newtoy's Words With Friends Free overtakes Angry Birds Rio for third place. Handygames' Guns'n'Glory WW2 also remains a popular download, as newcomer Clouds and Sheep Free enters the top ten ahead of Fruit Ninja Free and Contract Killer: Zombies.
