[In this weekly column, Gamasutra rounds up the most popular paid and free gaming applications on the Android Market as of today, with RoboDefense, Cut the Rope, The Moron Test and Madden NFL 12 currently ranking among the platform's top downloads.] This week's top paid titles are: 1. RoboDefense ($2.99) 2. Cut the Rope ($0.99) 3. The Moron Test ($0.99) 4. Madden NFL 12 ($6.99) 5. Fruit Ninja ($1.26) 6. UNO ($2.99) 7. Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus ($6.99) 8. NOVA 2 HD ($0.99) 9. Pocket God ($0.99) 10. Doodle Jump ($0.99) Lupis Labs' tower defense title RoboDefense climbs to the top of the paid charts following a recent update, outselling DistinctDev's The Moron Test and Zeptolab's Cut the Rope. Last week's chart winner Madden NFL 12 falls to fourth place in today's results, meanwhile, as Gameloft's Modern Combat 2 and NOVA 2 enter the charts at seventh and eighth. Here are this week's top free Android game applications: 1. Angry Birds 2. Bunny Shooter 3. Angry Birds Seasons 4. Angry Birds Rio 5. Words With Friends Free 6. Drag Racing 7. Tetris Free 8. Fruit Ninja Free 9. Solitaire 10. Drunk Man Rovio's reigning chart champ Angry Birds continues to rank as the Android's most-downloaded free game app, while Bunny Shooter climbs up to second place after taking third last week. Angry Birds Rio and Seasons also remain popular downloads, while a trial version of Halfbrick's Fruit Ninja returns to the top ten at eighth.
