[In this weekly column, Gamasutra rounds up the most popular paid and free gaming applications on the Android Market as of today, with Cut the Rope, UNO, Fruit Ninja and Angry Birds currently ranking among the platform's top downloads.] This week's top paid titles are: 1. Cut the Rope ($0.99) 2. UNO ($0.99) 3. Fruit Ninja ($1.26) 4. Doodle Jump ($0.99) 5. Madden NFL 12 ($4.99) 6. RoboDefense ($2.99) 7. The Moron Test ($0.99) 8. Minecraft: Pocket Edition ($6.99) 9. Homerun Battle 3D ($4.99) 10. The Sims 3 ($4.99) Gameloft's card game UNO climbs up to second place after taking seventh in last week's charts, rivaling ZeptoLab's reigning leader Cut the Rope for the top chart spot. Halfbrick's Fruit Ninja and Lima Sky's Doodle Jump also remain top sellers, as Mojang's Minecraft: Pocket Edition sees a sharp drop in popularity, landing at eighth place after finishing third last week. Here are this week's top free Android game applications: 1. Angry Birds 2. Angry Birds Seasons 3. Angry Birds Rio 4. Words With Friends Free 5. Guns'n'Glory WW2 6. Drag Racing 7. Fruit Ninja Free 8. Contract KIller: Zombies (No Blood) 9. Contract Killer: Zombies 10. Hanging With Friends Rovio's Angry Birds games occupy first, second, and third place in the Android Market's free charts, as newcomer Guns'n'Glory WW2 trails Newtoy's Words With Friends Free at fifth place. A bloodless version of Glu's popular Contract Killer: Zombies enters the charts at eighth place this week, meanwhile, as Creative Mobile's Drag Racing and Halfbrick's Fruit Ninja Free claim sixth and seventh.
