Every week, Gamasutra rounds up the top-grossing Android gaming applications, as current that day in the Android Market. This week's U.S. revenue charts see Defender and Tap Fish leading today's rankings, as Paradise Island and Fashion Story also report fast sales. These charts allow end users to see who is making the most money in the Android Market that day. It differs significantly from the Top Paid Games chart, which is ranked by sales, and therefore is dominated by lower-priced titles that sell more copies. Data comes courtesy of Google's public sales information. All titles in the Android Market's "Games" category are considered in chart rankings. This week's top-grossing Android titles are: 1. Defender (Free) 2. Tap Fish (Free) 3. Live Holdem Poker Pro (Free) 4. Zynga Poker (Free) 5. Smurfs' Village (Free) 6. Life is Crime (Free) 7. Paradise Island (Free) 8. My Country (Free) 9. Texas Poker (Free) 10. Fashion Story (Free) DroidHen's defense title Defender climbs to the top of the Android Market's revenue charts following a strong showing at third place last week, pushing longtime chart leaders Tap Fish and Live Holdem Poker Pro to second and third place. Paradise Island moves up to seventh place after finishing ninth last week, meanwhile, as TeamLava's Fashion Story returns at tenth place after a brief chart absence.
