Every week, Gamasutra rounds up the top-grossing Android gaming applications, as current that day in the Android Market. This week's U.S. revenue charts see Defender and Tap Fish leading today's rankings, as World of Goo and Bakery Story also report top earnings. These charts allow end users to see who is making the most money in the Android Market that day. It differs significantly from the Top Paid Games chart, which is ranked by sales, and therefore is dominated by lower-priced titles that sell more copies. Data comes courtesy of Google's public sales information. All titles in the Android Market's "Games" category are considered in chart rankings. This week's top-grossing Android titles are: 1. Defender (Free) 2. Tap Fish (Free) 3. Live Holdem Poker Pro (Free) 4. Zynga Poker (Free) 5. Smurfs' Village (Free) 6. World of Goo ($4.99) 7. Fashion Story (Free) 8. Life is Crime (Free) 9. Bakery Story (Free) 10. Paradise Island (Free) DroidHen's strategy title Defender and Gameview's aquarium sim Tap Fish remain the Android Market's highest-grossing titles for the second week in a row, with a pair of poker titles from Zynga and Dragonplay following at third and fourth place. 2D Boy's World of Goo moves up to sixth place after finishing eighth last week, while TeamLava's Bakery Story and Fashion Story compete with Life is Crime and Paradise Island in the latter half of the top ten.
