Angry Birds Rio HD ($2.99) Ayopa Games' word puzzler WELDER climbs to the top of the iPad charts after premiering at seventh place last week, overtaking Disney's Where's My Water? and Rovio's Angry Birds Seasons HD. Recent price drops put 5th Cell's Scribblenauts Remix and Madfinger's Shadowgun back among the platform's top sellers, while Chillingo's physics puzzler Contre Jour HD claims eighth place following the launch of a content-expanding update. Here are this week's top free iPad applications: 1. Crime City HD 2. Hidden Object Crosswords HD 3. Six Towers HD 4. Card Ace Casino HD 5. Glass Tower 2 HD Free 6. Mr Giggle HD Lite 7. Ball Towers HD Funzio's Crime City HD takes top honors in today's iPad chart, fending off competition from Dekovir's Hidden Object Crosswords HD and longtime favorite Six Towers HD. Last week's chart winner Card Ace Casino HD drops to fourth place in today's results, as iDevUA's Glass Tower HD Free and Mr Giggle HD Lite trail at fifth and sixth.
