[In this weekly column, Gamasutra rounds up the most popular paid and free iPad gaming applications on the App Store as of today, with Monopoly, Asphalt 6, N.O.V.A. 2 and Battleship currently ranking among the platform's top downloads.] This week's top paid titles are: 1. Monopoly for iPad ($0.99) 2. Asphalt 6: Adrenaline HD ($0.99) 3. N.O.V.A. 2 HD ($0.99) 4. Battleship for iPad ($0.99) 5. Dungeon Hunter 2 HD ($0.99) 6. NBA Jam for iPad ($0.99) 7. Angry Birds Seasons HD ($1.99) 8. StarFront: Collision HD ($0.99) 9. Transformers: Dark of the Moon HD ($0.99) 10. Scrabble for iPad ($0.99) Multiple titles from Electronic Arts and Gameloft enter this week's top ten as both publishers host a catalog-wide sale for the 4th of July weekend. Last week's chart champion Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing fails to make an appearance in this week's top ten, as Monopoly for iPad and Asphalt 6 rise to the top of the sales rankings after being discounted to 99 cents each. Here are this week's top free iPad applications: 1. Mr Giggle HD Lite 2. Rows 3D for iPad Lite 3. Tiny Tower HD 4. Angry Birds HD Free 5. VegasTowers HD 6. Racing Penguin, Flying Free 7. Angry Birds Rio HD Free 8. Fruit Ninja HD Lite 9. The Line HD 10. Dogfight 1951 While there's been a lot of turnover in the paid charts recently, the iPad's free charts remain consistent, with Mr Giggle HD Lite, Rows 3D for iPad, and Tiny Tower HD ranking as the platform's top downloads for the second week in a row. SiuYiu Limited's VegasTowers HD enters the charts at fifth, meanwhile, as Best Apps' Racing Penguin, Flying Free beats Angry Birds Rio HD Free for sixth place.
