Machinarium ($4.99) 2. Angry Birds Seasons HD ($1.99) 3. Plants vs. Zombies HD ($1.99) 4. Jetpack Joyride ($0.99) 5. Fruit Ninja HD ($2.99) 6. Race Illegal: High Speed 3D ($0.99) 7. Angry Birds HD ($4.99) 8. Doodle Jump for iPad ($2.99) 9. Words With Friends HD ($2.99) 10. Angry Birds Rio HD ($2.99) Amanita Design's adventure game Machinarium climbs to the top of the iPad sales charts in its debut week, outselling former champion Angry Birds Seasons HD and PopCap's recently discounted Plants vs. Zombies HD. Halfbrick's Jetpack Joyride continues to report strong sales at fourth place, meanwhile, as Chillingo's latest release Race Illegal debuts at sixth. Here are this week's top free iPad applications: 1. Early Bird HD 2. Sea Battle Classic HD 3. Paint and Learn Lite 4. SnowBall Duel HD Free 5. Mr Giggle 2 HD Lite 6. Zombie Highway 7. Crimson: Steam Pirates 8. Angry Birds HD Free 9. Smurfs' Grabber 10. Naught Booyah's Early Bird HD leads today's results during a limited-time free download promotion, pushing Kamagames' Battleship clone Sea Battle Classic HD to second place. Last week's chart winner Crimson: Steam Pirates drops to seventh place in today's rankings, while Blue Shadow's gravity-flipping platformer Naught takes tenth.
