North Carolina's local game association Triangle Gaming Initiative will hold the 2012 East Coast Game Conference for industry professionals on April 25-26 at the Raleigh Convention Center, and has announced a call for speaker submissions. Now in its fourth year, ECGC is an annual event for developers and other game industry professionals on the East Coast to "share expertise, network, and build careers." The theme of this year's show is "the growing importance of content over platform." ECGC 2012 will also feature panels, lectures, and discussions for a variety of tracks: Academic, Business of Games, Advanced Learning, Programming, Visual Arts, Game Design, Social and Mobile, and Game Fundamentals. More information on the two-day conference and speaker submission guidelines are available at ECGC's official site.
