Newsbrief: Trion Worlds launched the subscription-based fantasy MMORPG Rift in Russia on Thursday with local publishing partner Belver. The game launched in North America, Australia, and Europe in March of this year with English, German, and French clients. The Russian version, which was "completely localized from the ground up" for the country, is the first new language introduced since Rift's debut. Trion says it will continue Rift's global expansion with a launch in Korea next year, through a partnership with that region's CJ E&M Games.
