Newsbrief: There's trouble brewing for the Neo Geo X, the video game handheld that plays classic Neo Geo games, as there's uncertainty as to whether the handheld's North American manufacturer and distributor is still onboard. Last week, Neo Geo X developer SNK Playmore claimed that it had terminated its agreement with Tommo Inc, the company that manufactures the handheld in North America. Although it gave no reason for the termination, the company said Tommo was no longer licensed to make or sell any Neo Geo X products. Tommo today hit back, stating that it has not breached any contract with SNK Playmore, and that it plans to continue supporting and marketing the NeoGeo X -- in fact, says the company, it has an agreement in place to manufacture the handheld until 2016. The manufacturer is now demanding that SNK Playmore retracts its termination announcement.
