Two Razer Hardware Prototypes Stolen

Computer gaming peripherals maker Razer has made a plea online after a couple of Razer Blade gaming prototypes were stolen from the company's R&D lab earlier this month. The prototypes were stolen on November 4 from the company's Bay area lab, as part of an office break-in. Razer co-founder Min-Liang Tan has now released a statement via the company's Facebook page, asking for anyone who has information regarding the theft to come forward. "As you can imagine, the return of these prototype units is very important to the company," he said. "We have already reported this to the authorities who are working closely with us on this matter." "We take this act of theft seriously and would like to appeal for its return and discourage anyone from buying the Razer Blade prototypes from the perpetrators, whether online or otherwise, as they are stolen property." Razer unveiled its latest ultra-thin laptop, called the Blade, earlier this year -- a $2,800 laptop that's less than an inch thick and weighs just under 7 pounds.
