Ubisoft has revealed the Drawsome Tablet, a new peripheral for the Nintendo Wii that allows players to draw with a pen to interact with a series of games. The tablet features a 6.5 x 5-inch touch-screen on which players can draw with a supplied wireless stylus, and anything drawn on the screen is transferred into the game in real-time. Players can also use an SD card with the tablet to share their artwork with other tablets. The tablet comes bundled with two games, Drawsome Artist and Drawsome Sketch Quest, with both games looking to inspire creativity in players. The Smurfs franchise is included as part of the experience. Tony Key, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Ubisoft, said of the new device, "Ubisoft is always looking for new ways to marry quality family time with a quality gaming experience." "With the Drawsome Tablet, Ubisoft is bringing to the market a peripheral that will allow families to sit down together and create their own unique works of art while participating in fun, creative adventures." The Drawsome Tablet will be released in the U.S. on December 6. It has not yet been established whether the tablet will see releases in other regions.
