Newsbrief: British trade group UKIE has sold its share of chart specialist GfK Chart-Track back to GfK, while also announcing an extended partnership with the company. According to news website MCV, UKIE has now sold its 20 per cent share in Chart-Track -- which provides charts of the top-selling video games in the UK each week -- and plans to use the new funds in part to support the NextGen skills campaign. However, UKIE also revealed that it has extended its current agreement with Chart Track, meaning that the compiled charts will continue to be known as the 'UKIE Games Charts' for at least another five years.
