Those utilizing the Unity Asset Store can now purchase high quality art from AAA developers, as noted art studio Massive Black will be offering its work for Unity developers. Massive Black is a popular provider of concept art, animation, textures, AI scripting and models for mostly Western game developers. High profile titles that have utilized the company include Bioshock 2, inFamous, KillZone 2, Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, Sonic Unleashed and Red Faction Guerilla. "Our goal has always been to generate premier quality products, and we’re anxious to offer outside parties access to them," Massive Black CEO Chris Hatala said in a statement. "Our plan is to contribute assets that we use ourselves, so we really hope Unity users find them as useful as we do." The Unity Asset Store is built directly into the Unity game authoring platform, and already has a substantial catalog of art assets and tutorials available. Learn more at the official site.
