Newsbrief: In an unusual bit of cross-promotion, Steam is now selling high-definition digital copies of all four Mad Max movies - though the recently released Fury Road is only available for pre-purchase - alongside Avalanche Studio's new Max Max video game.

The movies and game will be offered in a variety of packages, and will be available to Steam users based in the US, Canada, Russia, Brazil, South Korea and most of Europe.

It's a curious new direction for the digital retailer, which, until now, has only ever sold a handful of video game-related movies and documentaries
