Xbox Game Pass for PC has rebranded as PC Game Pass.

The logo for the service still features Xbox imagery, but as explained by PC Game Pass on Twitter: "now it says PC in the front."

In some rather wry patch notes, the PC Game Pass account explained the change happened because "we just like this version more" and that "change is good usually [but] in this case, change is kinda neutral."

The PC version of Microsoft's popular subscription service remains unchanged beyond that minor branding pivot.
