A rather extraordinary Twitch channel allows viewers to play through the original Pokemon Red/Blue simply by entering button presses into the livechat. "Twitch Plays Pokemon", which is currently broadcasting live at the time of press, takes text strings from the live viewer chat and converts them into button presses where possible. These button presses are then fed into the classic Game Boy title. There are over 3,000 live viewers right now, so as you'd expect, it's all rather hectic -- especially when you take the delay between the stream and the live text into consideration. Still, it's a lovely idea, and well worth checking out.
