Prope, the studio founded by former Sonic Team head Yuji Naka, has released an Unreal Engine 3-powered experimental app called Prope Discoverer for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. The title, which costs $2.99 on Apple's App Store, is essentially a sharp-looking tech demo that's reminiscent of UE3-maker Epic's free engine demo Epic Citadel. Prope Discover has players exploring a 3D rendered castle environment, searching for hidden cards that take players through the virtual spaces. Prope is active on the App Store, previously releasing games including Just Half, 10 Count Boxer, Real Skijump HD, Fluffy Bear and a number of entries in Naka's Let's Tap series. Discover is the first app released by Prope that uses UE3. Early this year, Naka also revealed that he is working on a new flight-based game for the Wii and Nintendo 3DS with his studio, Prope and publisher Kadokawa Games.
