Newsbrief: Back in February 2012, social games company Zynga was sued by intellectual property developer Personalized Media Communications, with four alleged patent infringements discussed. Nearly two years later, a federal jury in Texas has sided with Zynga on two of the alleged infringement counts, stating that PMC's patents do not apply to Zynga's games. Renee Lawson, deputy general counsel for Zynga, added that the company will continue to vigorously defend "against lawsuits that we believe lack merit."
