Games for Change, the New York City festival focused on the positive social impact of games, today announced the nominees for its 2014 awards. The Annual Games for Change Festival is a non-profit event that aims to act as a catalyst for those developers creating social impacts through their projects. The awards show will take place on April 23 at the NYU Skirball Center. Papers, Please! is the big name this year, with nominations for Most Innovative and Best Gameplay. The Lucas Pope game recently won big at the IGF Awards and Choice Awards too. This year sees the inclusion of the "Game Changer Award," aimed at recognizing significant contributions from individual who inspire and mentor a new generation of game creators and researchers.
