Newsbrief: 11 Bit Studios, the Polish developer responsible for games like Funky Smugglers and Anomaly: Warzone Earth, has hired two high-profile developers of The Witcher away from CD Projekt Red. Maciej Szczesnik, the former lead gameplay designer of the Witcher games, will be assuming the lead designer role on a new game project at 11 Bit. Marek Ziemak, the former gameplay producer of The Witcher franchise, will be taking on an unannounced role. "I've been watching the indie game scene for quite some time and I love its creativity and freshness," Ziemak stated in a press release confirming the transition. "Without going into details, expect some hot news from us around March." It's worth pointing out that 11 Bit Studios was actually founded by former CD Projekt employees back in 2010.
